Small Business Marketing Specialist

Wellington- Waterloo Community Futures (WWCF) is looking for a summer student to assist in a special project promoting rural communities and businesses.

Job type: 30 hrs a week, 8-week contract

 

Responsibilities:

  • Get involved with and promote summer festivals and events in the Wellington- Waterloo rural region
  • Meet with rural small business owners to help with their digital marketing and online presence
  • Work with images and video to enhance our online image
  • Manage social media campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a Post-secondary program related to the marketing and digital media
  • Previous project experience and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with computer application software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with marketing, social media and websites
  • Travel is required

 

Required license or certification:

  • Drivers licence
