1 Position Available: Part-Time Project Coordinator

Wellington- Waterloo Community Futures (WWCF), in partnership with Bruce and Saugeen Community Futures offices, are looking for a part – time coordinator to assist in the implementation of a Youth Skills Training Program. The incumbent will utilize the fundamentals of project management to effectively plan, execute, monitor, control and close, ensuring that the project remains on schedule.

Job type: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $15/ hr plus travel expenses

Contract duration: January 2017 until late December 2017



  • Develop relationships with community organizations, businesses, governments and stakeholders
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of partnership agreements
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials
  • Schedule all workshop facilitators and dates
  • Organize workshop refreshments
  • Assist with coordinating student work placements
  • Assist in the creation of evaluation forms for all participants
  • Ensure feedback is collected and summarized in a timely manner


  • Post-secondary degree in a related discipline
  • Previous project experience and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with computer application software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with marketing an asset
  • Travel is required

Required license or certification:

  • Drivers licence
